HIThis sale is for one previously owned Drake T-4X ham radio high frequency transmitter, sold as is, without warranty. Outside, the case is in pretty good shape, a few scratches, no dents that I can see. Paint is pretty good, but don\'t know if it is original. Screws holding the case on are not original black Drake screws, but they look very nice, and they all match.Inside, all the tubes are there, and they all light up when item is connected to a Drake power supply (not included in sale). Dial lights illuminate as they should. All controls turn easily, as does the tuning dial. The face of the transmitter is very nice. There is discoloration on much of the top of the copper chassis, but the underside looks quite good, and the wiring and components all look original. Since I am unfortunately not familiar with Drake equipment, I am not able to test further, hence selling as is.
I will ship the T-4X to the winning buyer within the first 24 hours. Shipping cost is exactly what it costs me, no more. I usually ship by USPS Expedited service which is pretty quick, and generally runs from $15-$48 depending on where you live. Disregard any weird shipping amounts e-bay may show. Again I do not make any money off shipping!!!
All in all, I think with a knowledgable owner who can tune it up and who knows how to use Drake equipment, this will be a good transmitter for their shack.
