This is a beautiful mid century reproduction of an 1825 American Empire period drop leaf gate leg table. Beautifuly crafted with planks that are wide and spiral shaped legs. This one is stamped under the table 1951,so that makes it Mid Century. So it does have some age. I was born in 1951 so we have something in common. Size when closed is 24\" wide,30\" tall and 44\" long. With both leafs open it measures 5\' 9\" long and 44\" across and 30\" tall. This is a BEAUTIFUL table and , not sure , but I think it is cherry. It does have a couple if minor scratches but hardly noticable. Beautiful table for your Holiday feast.
