Duplo’s SYSTEM 5000collating and bookletmaking solution is their most advanced and productivefinishing system. The SYSTEM 5000 incorporates DC-10/60 collating towers, thedynamic DBM-250 bookletmaker and face trimmer. The new system offers completeflexibility by accepting both set-by-set of the traditional offset market andsheet-by-sheet pre-collated output of digital printers, eliminating the needfor two separate solutions.
The SYSTEM 5000’ssuction-feed towers are expandable up to 60 bins and collate up to 10,000 setsper hour. Two fans ensure accurate feeding for a wide range of paper stocks andeach tower is equipped to operate independently, allowing two jobs to runsimultaneously in two different output directions. The block mode allows for onthe fly reloading and downtime is dramatically reduced as doubles and misfeedsare immediately diverted into a unique reject tray without stopping orinterrupting production.

The convenient automatic setting of theDBM-300 Bookletmaker offers speed and reliability to maximize productivity andincrease profits. Professionally bookletmaking up to 3,600 sets an hour, theoptional DBM-250T Trimmer is designed to be used in-line with the DBM-300. Thisrugged trimmer precisely and consistently face trims booklets up to 48 sheets.
The DBM-300 is customized for simplesetup and user-friendly operation. With the most common applicationspre-programmed, bookletmaking is accessed at the simple touch of a button.Setup and changeover are accomplished automatically, with no timely adjustmentsnecessary. All machinery is available for you to personally, or have a 3rd party, review prior to shipment. We make every effort to provide proper listing specifications but in many cases we rely on internet and manufacturer based information, which is always subject to change. Shipping:
In the majority of our items we offer a ballpark freight estimate for shipments within the continental USA. We receive a lot of requests to provide freight quotes and the process is very timely and costly. When possible, please work with our ballpark estimates for shipments within the continental USA.
If you require a firm freight quote to anyplace in the world, please make your request by sending us an message. We prefer to provide freight quotes to serious buyers that are willing to provide us their e-mail and physical address. We will also need to know if you will be receiving the freight at a (1) commercial or residential address, and (2) in the case of larger machinery, if you have a dock or forklift for receiving the freight (do you require a ground level delivery with a lift-gate?). Generally residential and lift-gate deliveries cost additional. (3) If you are considering a used piece of machinery, please know that in most cases a crating / packaging fee will apply.
We ship domestically and worldwide by UPS, UPS Freight, UPS Ocean, FedEx, most common LTL carriers, and though special arrangement with private trucks. We are also very happy to ship with the carrier of your choice. If there is a safe and economical way to get the freight to you, we are happy to work with your source.
