Selling my 1990 490 Dynahoe. Bought it last year from Iron Horse in NY to put in some foundations, drains, and dig some tree stumps. It has a Detroit Diesel 4-53, 120 HP that does not burn oil or smoke, is miserly on fuel, and starts easily. See photo for oil pressure shot. Mostgaugesdo not work and have not since I got it. Has the clam-shell bucket that allows you to grab things or use it as a dozer. Bucket is rated to lift 9,000 # and Ibelieve1.75 yard. Hoe is 1/3 yard and will dig 19' deep. Machine weighs in at 25,000. Rear wheels do the steering. It is not a little bend-me-easily toy machine. Was manufactured by Bucyrus-Erie which invented the dedicated backhoe. Two-speed allison transmission. Air brakes work well. Cabin heat works well and has ROPS. Hasauxiliary hoelines (photo) and foot pedal for hammer attachment that you can get from Iron Horse and elsewhere. Tires are great. Pins are tight. Missing a keeper on the bucket pivot (Small flat stock screws on). Filters are easy to get. Middle boom cylinder just developed a leak, no damage to rod, just needs new seal I believe. Does not affect usability, but does leak some. You can truck it on a single-drop trailer. Shipping is buyer's responsibility. Cost was $1700 to ship NYC to Valparaiso, IN (Chicago area) last year. Let me know if you want to look at it, have questions, etc. I have pdf operator's and parts manuals. Can't give it away but do need to make room because we have no use for it now. $500 is due immediately via PayPal upon successful offer with remainder by wire, cashiers, personal check, or cash. Must be paid in full and any checks cleared before it leaves, no exceptions. Sold as is, where is. I am not interested in trading for anything. Thanks.
