The blade is signed \"Echizen kokuHarima-daijo Fujiwara Shigetaka 越前国　播磨大掾藤原重高\", shinogi-zukuri shape,Edoperiod ca.1670 era made old family blade.It came with NTHK paper submitted on 8th Oct. 2011. The blade is in old polish, shows light flea-bite rust butno deep rust and ingoodcondition.There is no nick, no crack temper and cutting edge issharp. The temper line is wavygunome temper throughout the blade and haskomaru turn-backtemper at the point. Forging grainis itame hada and no forging flaws. The scabbard isheavy metalscabbard, shows aged lacquer loss but no dent, nobendand in good condition.The handle is tight fit, tsuka-ito wrapping is no cut, no loose. Tsuba and seppas ar matched number 32 stamped. Lockmechanism works fine.
