E Schroeder East St Louis Ale Bottle 1870's Great Color:
Classic cream ale bottle from East St Louis. These bottles were popular in the early 1870's. Measures 9-1/4 inches tall. It was dug and has been cleaned. Great bottle to put in a window, it's color really glows with back lighting in a window. There is a 3/16 inches crack justabove the S in Schroeder. It is an odd crack, it is ribbon shaped and can not be felt on the surface. May be a small factory defect. I could not get a good picture of it, as you can see from the photos itis hardlyvisibleunless you know exactly where it is.Otherwise clean with no stain or cracks.
