For EMCenthusiasts, here is an EMC 206 tube tester, untested, complete, and alloriginal. I have done some checking and have found the following:
*Checksall early 4-pin, 5-pin, 6-pin, and 7-pin tubes; also all loctal, octal, miniature, and subminiature tubes. Checks for quality, shorts, opens, and gas. Has built-intube roll chart
*Meterreads quality on Reject/Weak/Good scale and also directly in micromhos
*Tubetester is complete, no parts missing
*Frontpanel cosmetics are decent for a unit this age. Some scratches, but nothingmajor
*Unitpowers up
*Allswitches and meter appear to be good
*Ifthe buyer intends to restore this tube tester, I would suggest replacing allcapacitors, checking all resistors and wiring, and cleaning all switches and controls
*Or,salvage for parts
*Ownersmanual with updated tube listings (copy) is included. Some information is forthe EMC Model 200, but it also pertains to the Model 206
