You are offerding on this great vintage Empire Laboratory Supply Co Germany Balance / Scale. There is a ring at the top to hang it. The brass bar measures 7 3/4 inches across. The cups hang down about 8\" from the bar and the bar is about 4 1/2\" from the ring top. Marked on the brass level bar front is \"Empire Laboratory Supply Co Germany 100g\". This balance is in very good condition. It seems to be slightly heavier on the right, but can probably be adjusted. The label on the box lid reads \"1 Handwaage No. 1148 Tragkraft 100 Gramm, Jackiert. The box is soiled and stained.
