Exceptional 16.5\'\' (42cm) tall Amphora Teplitz Pitcher Vase Austria c.1900: $135.66
Remarkable and very large antique pitcher vase made by Amphora, in Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia, Austria. Late 19th or early 20th Century. The height of this magnificent piece measures 16.5 inches (42cm). The width is c.10 inches including handle and spout, and below the spout the width is 7.5 inches. It weighs approx 1.8 kg.Great condition, no damages, some light crazing in the glaze, see pictures.Produced during the Art Nouveau period in an orientalist style, influenced by old Persian pottery, with abstract patterns in brown and blue tones on a cream base.
