$20.00

The plant pictured is the plant you will receive. It will be shipped bare root on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Thank you for considering and happy gardening!Neoregelia PicassoUp for sale is an exceptional hybrid from world-renowned bromeliad hybridizer Chester Skotak. Picasso is a medium to large sized variegated bromeliad that ranges in color from bright white to a crimson tinge from half way leaf to tip. Chester Skotak has introduced many unusual bromeliad varieties including this beautiful specimen up for sale. This is a must have for the collection. Skotaks Picasso keeps on getting more intense shades of deep red when exposed to bright filtered sunlight. This plant reaches on average 15\" – 19\".
Neoregelia Plant CareNeoregelia can be grown indoors or out. Like all bromeliads they prefer temps between 60*-85* and tolerate lower or higher temps periodically as well. These plants prefer bright filtered light to partial sun but should not be in full direct sun for prolonged periods of time. Water is provided by filling the base of the leaves and center cup with fresh water. These are epiphytic plants, so they receive the majority of their nourishment from the water collected by the leaves. They require 6\" pots or just large enough to keep the plant stable. They can be mounted as well. Plant your Picasso in a 6\" pot filled with one part peat moss and one part perlite or sand. You should empty out and refresh the rosette (center cup) with fresh water periodically to keep your plant healthy. It can be left in the pot permanently or mounted once its roots are well established. All plants are shipped bare root.
