This is a very impressive scenic shell cameo depicting horse hunting. Three hunters are on horseback, chasing a stag with hounds. It presents very intricate carving with wonderful details. The cameo is set to a gold plain mount to be a brooch, attached with a safety chain. Hallmarks including \"375\" marked on the pin. The size of the brooch is unusually large, measured to be 2 3/4\" (70mm) x 2 1/4\" (54mm). Weight 32gms. Immaculate condition as shown in the pictures. Incised carver signature \"C. TERMINIC\" on the front.
