Thisrubber bungee belonged to a Free French Paratrooper 2nd squadron 4th SAS and is in perfect used condition.He got the helmet in Largo House during his parachutist formation (august 1942)and always kept it in memory of that time.He had given his English girlfriend who became his wife later.A name is marked inside \"Edwards\" but not his name. These helmets were used by many people at the time and everyone wrote what he wanted.It is an excellent example of one of the rarest items of WW2 paratroop kit.100% originalIt was also used by SOE agent with the jumpsuit.Good size.Rubber was restored as the original one was dry and dust falls. This does not alter the appearance of this very nice helmet highly sought after by airborne collectors.The pictures (color) do not do justice to the quality of this piece.offer in confidence.
