\"Double Donut Pencil Sharpener

Rare Find

This pencil sharpener works with a single disc mill cutter housed inside the top portion. The smaller bottom portion is for holding the shavings that would drop down. The Webster was first introduced in the late 1890\'s. Later versions marked Graffco have sheet steel covers as opposed to cast iron.
Pat. June 21, 1892 and made May 1, 1900. 114 years old! On one side of the body it says Boston Mass USA F.S. Webster Co and on the other side, F.S. Webster Co. NEW YORK,BOSTON,CHICAGO. Can also still seesome of the original gold stenciling as shown in pictures. The base had 3 holes to screw this heavy piece down but unfortunately one hole has been broken. It weighs 3 lbs, 7 oz. Base measures 3 1/8\" x 2 1/2\" The whole unit is 6 1/2\" x 4\" x 4 1/2\" deep. The handle knob is wood and is 1 1/4\" the iron arm handle part is 4 1/2\" long. The sharpener works great and has no operation issues. Turn the front to the side and the unit comes detached to empty shavings. I have never seen this sharpener before and count it a rare find.
