These haven't been warm since they came out of the foundary in 1968! For sale are a pair of genuine NOS OEM FORD 427 Tunnel Port Heads. These are original C70E-6090-K NASCAR cast iron heads. They have never been run on an engine. When I bought these, exhaust valve seats were installed, but never cut. Intake seats had NEVER been installed. This is how Tunnel Port heads were delivered NEW from FORD way back in 1968. They have full length bronze valve guides for 3/8" stems. For blueprinting, I brought these heads to a machinist who specializes in FORD FE race engines, and is an expert on the 427 Tunnel Port head in particular. They were magnufluxed and pressure tested good. Intake valve seats were installed and then all seats were cut for DSC Motorsports, Stainless Steel, TUNNEL PORT "JET FLOW" Valves. Valves are massive 2.25" Intake and 1.75" exhaust. The full set of DSC Valves are included. These were very lightly surfaced (<6 thousandths) to perfectly square the mating surfaces to better than new specs. You can see the brand new, deep "thumbprints" in the pics. These have 88cc combustion chambers. Date codes are 8L2 and 8J23. These heads are a very rare find. Because of their pure racing heritage, virtually every original Ford Tunnel Port head you'll ever find has been beaten and raced to death. They have been damaged, repaired, cracked, hit with a grinder, ported, welded, etc. These heads have NEVER been damaged. They have NO cracks, no repairs, and have no porting or grinding. This is a very rare opportunity to own the nicest pair of original, GENUINE FORD Tunnel Port heads you will ever find. Anyone can build an aftermarket CLONE of a 427 these days. But, the rarity and nostalgia of having a REAL, 1968 FORD Tunnel Port thundering under the hood,is priceless. (When was the last time you saw a real 427 Tunnel Port?)The Tunnel Port was the ultimate 427 wedge head, with alegendary racing heritage, that won EVERY major Title in every competition it saw action in, not a dime-a-dozen collection of aftermarket parts that anybody can find. My loss is your gain. This is truly a RARE opportunity to own the finest set of ORIGINAL FORD Tunnel Ports you will ever find. Once they're gone, they're gone.Buyer pays actual shipping costs. These will be shipped in boxes. Wood crating is extra. The shipping estimate is just that,an ESTIMATE. Buyer to pay ACTUAL shipping costs. I do not charge any extra to ship your packages. I do not make a dime on shipping. Also, remember that the shipping estimate is per head, so is x2! Shipping is to USA and Canada ONLY. Please ask all questions prior to offerding.
From DOVE's website:
This head was used in N.A.S.C.A.R. long tracks until the BOSS 429 came out. In Drag racing the tunnel port performed well. The t-port was a strong runner in A.R.C.A. racing until the rules changed to small blocks.

I've had a ton of interest in these heads, and a lot of questions. But, it appears that I am not receiving all my messages through . I have done my best to answer all questions but it is saying I have 19 questions to answer, yet they aren't showing up in my messages. ??? If you have questions you can also email me @: email@example.com I will be sure to get back to you. I want to make sure I haven't missed anyone. I've had countless requests about my reserve. My reserve is VERY, very reasonable. In fact, you will be VERY surprised how low it is. I've seen beaten up, damaged Tunnel Ports selling for more! So, offer to win. This is one you don't want to let get away. This is an incredible deal for real NOS heads. If they don't sell, they are most likely going back up on the shelf waiting to finish my 500+ inch monster stroker project. Also, please make payment within 48 hours of sale's end. Thank you for the interest.
