25\" antiqueSteiff bear with chest label & button in ear 1950\'s\'Hero\' is a very rare and truly magnificent huge 25\" very old Steiff bear from the 1950\'s. It isso hard to find one still with his paper chest label and large raised script Steiff button in ear. He is fully jointed with thick mohair, he has glass eyes and a very long muzzle, and for his age is in remarkably good condition. A very well cared for bear who has only ever been really loved and cherished and it shows.Bears of this size in this condition are hard to find and he is certainly an heirloom bear to own and adore. He has a working tilt growler and is quite a talkative old boy! Felt paw pads are very good and original. Nose, mouth and claw stitching are all original.
