This Fantastic Solid Walnut Antique 19th c LARGE Tamboured S Roll Desk with Tooled Leather writing surface. This lovely 19th century desk features an abundance ofstorage drawers,a lovely fitted interior with vertical file storage in thebottom drawers and hidden casters intact on the base.Inside is its old tooled leather writing surface (does show wear)with additional pull out writing areas on each side each having the same tooled leather. This desk isfinishedon all four sidesand offers lovely picture frame moldingsso itcan be a free standing desk in the middle of a room and would look beautiful from every angle.This desksolid walnut with its original finish and period dove-tailing on the drawer ends. The desk does have its lock but we do not have the key. ThisLarge S-roll desk is in wonderful antique condition with no apologies I can find just typical marks of age and usage its accumulated with time and would be a grand addition to a home office or library.
