Federal Laboratories Tear Gas Billy, Pat. 1925, 9 1/2" :
Really neat piece of obsolete police force equipment for the nonlethal control of suspects and prisoners. This tear gas billy was patented in 1925 by Federal Laboratories in Pittsburgh, Pa. It is made of brass and is wrapped in leather. This billy used a tear gas cartridgethat was ignited by a battery. The tear gas would be expelled through the orifice at the tip of the billy. This piece is in great condition and would probably work IF you could find cartidges.
