Felt saddle shim shims made with Parelli pattern:
$7

This NEW shim set is made from compressed upholstery felt approximately 1/4 inch thick, which is very, very close to what the original Parelli saddle shims are made of for the Theraflex pads. SEW OR GLUE TWO TOGETHER FOR A HALF-INCH SHIM. 3M WORKS WELL. Each side of the pad measures about 7 inches wide and 9 inches long, connected by a strip of felt about four inches long. So the entire piece is about 23 inches long. Use them with the English or Western Theraflex pad, or with any other saddle pad. These are meant to be used between the pad and the saddle, not directly on the horse. This material is very durable. I've used pads cut from this material for the last two years to rehabilitate a rescued horse with poor back muscling. I used them with my Parelli Theraflex pad to fill in low spots in her back, then removed them as my horse began to regain muscle tone. The rubber backing on one side of the material allowed me to stack shims together without any slippage. In those two years, the material retained GREAT shape. I've used the Parelli shim pattern to cut these from the felt material, including the connecting strap that joins the two halves. The set is what you see in the photo. SHIPPING: If you are buying one, two, three or four shims, select FLAT RATE ENVELOPE. If you are buying five or more, select MEDIUM FLAT RATE BOX.
