great entry level banjo with bright tone and comfortable feel. REMO USA head, all bindings and screws present. no noticeable dings or scratches in finish. It has been sitting unplayed in a guitar gig bag (not a banjo gig bag, but it fits fine) for a few years in a climate controlled environment, this is the bag it will come with. Looking over reviews it seems the Korean made Fender branded Banjos are a little more desireable that the current China models, and are a bit more rare. This would make a great instrument for an intermediate player or to simply have as a back up travel companion.
