Being presented for sale is this splendid Victorian Renaissance Revival Walnut Needlepoint Parlor Armchair circa 1875.This lovely 19th century chair boasts of beautiful floral needlepoint, rich walnut wood with detailed carvingsand the original casters intact on the front ringturned legs. This fine 19th century chair measures 42 inches in height to the top of the back, width arm to arm of 23 1/2inches,seat width of 19 1/2 inches,seat depth of21 inches and seat height of 16 inches and weighs approximately 25 lbs. This chair is solid and very sturdy with no breaks or repairs we can find and the old needlepoint covering is just lovely but does show some wear and some fading as common with age. I have tried to show this in the close up pictures of the seat..nothing that distracts from the beauty of this chair at all in my opinion. Just a wonderful Victorian chair that would make a great addition to your home.
