This listing is for a lovely andoutstanding old antique handmade4/4 sizedviolinlabeled Andreas Morelli(See pictures of label).These were top of the line hand made by the Karl Herrman violin workshop in Markneukirchen Germany around 1930 and are of excellent quality. I have restoredmany old violinsand this is one ranks near the top in condition and sound. Listen to the video to hear this violin being played(recording was made with an inexpensive web cam,sounds much better when played). Tone is full and well balanced across all strings. Projection and volume of this violin is excellent for it\'s agewith no cracks or open seams anywhere. It has it\'s original oil varnish which is in great condition for it\'s age. It is fully blocked and lined having all 4 corner blocks plus 2 end blocks. Violin has new custom bridge, tuning pegs, tailpiece, endpin and new Tonica synthetic gut strings. It has been set up for optimum tone by a master luthier and is ready to play with no repairs needed. According to luthier, violin would appraise between $2,500 and $3,000.
