A very rare and complete pair of Kiowa women\'s boot moccasins from Oklahoma c. 1875.
You won\'t find a pair this clean ...nice...intact ... at Indian Market or elsewhere.
These fabulous boots stand 17\" high.
They are made of native tanned hide, yellow ochre, glass trade beads, and German silver buttons...none missing, none replaced.
Overall, they are in superb condition...there is slight water damage to the uppers...not uncommon.
These moccasins have an excellent documented provenance...documentation will accompany the moccasins.
They both have a very rare and beautiful beaded fan on the top vamps...all beading is intact.
They are displayed on a custom stand, and the stand will be provided along with the boots.
