Up for sale / your consideration is a Flat Head Ford Engine set up. It includes a set of Ross Racing Pistons with Pins, (3) groove ring set up, a set of Grant Racing Piston Rings, a set of Piston Pin Locks, and a set of resized/redone/re-manufactured Ford 8BA rods.
The pistons are new, but have been stored in a machine shop for 10 plus years. They are bore 3.312, net diameter 3.308, C.H. 1311, Ring Groove 3/32, 3/32, 5/32, Ring Lands 280, 110, 080, Pin .750, 2.770, SGL, Net Dome None, Dome Height 185, Dish Depth 000, Int V.P. Dia. 000 Depth 000, Ext V.P. Dia. 000 Depth 000. All of these have been wrapped up in plastic, so they are fairly clean. I have taken a photo of the label on the side of the piston box with the job order number/sequence that has all of these specifications on it.
The Grant Racing Piston Ping Set was ordered for these Pistons and the same for the Pin Locks.
The rods are possible new, and have been resized or are brand new, and made/fitted for the newer style 12 point ARP type of rods bolts. The little end of the rods has new bushing installed into them. All the rods have Ford Script and have 8BA on the rods. These have been inside of a open box and have been exposed to the environment inside of a active machine shop for 10 plus years.
There are no end mill or lathe marks on any of these parts, hence is why I am saying that they are new. The rods are untouched on the small or large end, hence is why I am saying that they are new. Neither set of the parts have been balanced and they look like they are all original from their manufacturers.
Please examine/study/review all the photos carefully, as these parts can not be returned/exchanged/replaced if you want a different set of them. I have no means or which to replace these parts as I have no means by which to acquire them. All of these parts should bethoroughlyinspected, trial fitted, and cleaned, before they are even thought of being installed inside of rebuilt or new engine assembly. If you do not know the specifications of what these parts are being installed in, you should get all of those answers before placing any offers on these item. I want the person who wins this sale to know exactly what they are offerding on and what and how these parts should fit together with their own engine assembly. If you have questions, ask them and get the proper andthoroughlycorrect answers before placing any offers on these items. I will try my best to answer any and all answers as soon as possible and to the best of my abilities. I am including shipping/handling/insurance with these parts in the price of the sale. All of these parts will be carefully wrapped and packaged to avoid any damage to them in shipping. I will probably have to ship them in twoseparatepackages as to get the proper insurance for the total price of these parts. I can not guarantee these parts for any type of applications, as they are meant to be used to modify,change,rebuild,recondition, race engine application that are meant for advanced engine builders and not to be used by people who do not know what these parts are meant to be used for. All of these parts are at least meant to be used in engines that have had advanced machine shop techniques performed on it.
