Offeredhere is a vintage Flexi Flyer Racer from the 1950s. This is a model 300 with 4 wheels, steering,suspension and brakes. I am the originalowner and have kept this stored indoors all of the time (except when in useduring a few years in the late ‘50s). Itshows normal signs of age with some slight rust, paint fading & chippingand tire wear. I painted part of the topwhen I was a kid. The center part of thewood is green and the rails are white.It has all of the original parts and everything works properly. It rolls and steers well and the brakes apply. The brakes are the friction type that simplyrub against the tire to slow things down.The underside was not painted and you can see the original lettering. Operation is usually from the prone orsitting position using hands (when prone) or feet (when sitting). All in all a sturdy and fun toy. This one is in nice condition, especiallyconsidering its age.
