I realize that not everyone wants, needs, or can afford a new tractor. Some folks like me can justify investing in an inexpensive utility tractor like this 3000 for bush hogging a couple of times a year. Or, mowing shooting lanes at the hunting club. Or, cultivating a garden every year. This 3000 diesel is the 8 speed with live pto. Transmission and pto engage smooth and work well. This one does not have power steering. But, that makes the price cheaper. And, honestly, You really don\'t need it. It has a brand new steering box and sector just installed. When I got it, it was difficult to steer. Several bearings were worn out in the steering box. Rather than spend the money and time rebuilding it, I bought a new one. The sheet metal is relatively straight. The lights don\'t work. One reason is because the factory light switch vibrated apart over the years. If You choose, You could get You some lights burning without too much trouble or expense. The tires are good. They don\'t leak down and they don\'t have any big gashes in the carcass or sidewall that I have seen. The front tires are new. The right rear looks nice. The left rear is ugly. The cleats are kind of chewed up on it. Tach is working. Hours are reading 3307. No idea if these are actual. The engine is strong and healthy. It really sounds great. No excessive smoke or blowby. The radiator is full of green antifreeze. It has a repair where it was soldered about the size of a silver dollar. ( not uncommon. and it is not leaking ) The left tie rod is bent and the steering arms up by the front tires have a bead welded around the top. ( again, not uncommon for an old tractor. And it doesn\'t effect the function or driving. That\'s about it. The bush hog is not included. But, it is for sale for $850.00 additional if You purchase the tractor.
