Warren-Knight™ Forester’s Staff Compass No 140

This Compass is lightly used and is in excellent condition. I am the original owner. It has a beveled flat base and straight edge graduated to 1/4\" for plane table work. Declination can be adjusted 45° east or west. Offset sights are notched in housing at 90°. Free-swinging, 3-1/4\"L needle has a thumb-operated lock. Permanently mounted circular spirit level on the Staff Compass face allows fast, easy leveling.

One-piece case measures 3-3/4\"H, 1\"H with sights folded, 5\"-dia. Case has some cosmetic blemishes on the bottom(exterior) and some writting on the (inside) flap, but is in otherwise excellent condition.

Includes a ball-and-socket joint for mounting on a Jacob Staff. Includes the Jacob Staff, which is made from lacquered hardwood with a tapered head and forged steel shoe. Jacob Staff measures 54\"L. Staff has scratches and normal wear on the steel point but is sturdy and sound.
