version lower than version 3.10...
It can\'t be done with a CD nor a Jaz drive...Do so much more with your Fostex VF16 recorder by upgrading the internal
software to the highest available version 3.13...
It will basically turn your VF16 machine into a VF160 machine, giving it
all the main features of a VF160...
Internal mix down, channel solo, channel pairing...etc....
I love the \"internal mix down\" feature...
Mix 16 tracks down to 2 tracks via \"internal mix down\", then record 14 more tracks...
Then keep repeating this process for an endless amount of tracks (with no loss of quality)...

And another good reason to upgrade is...
You can use an external SCSI CD burner with your VF16
after upgrading...

This kit includes everything you need to upgrade your VF16 recorder...
External zip drive with all the necessary cables and software upgrade disk
with easy to follow instructions...

And the zip drive can also be used to backup and re-load VF16 song data...

And if you have a VF160 recorder with no on-board cd drive,
or software version lower than 1.10,
(you can\'t up-grade a VF160 with cd drive if the software is lower than 1.10)
this kit will up-grade it to the highest available version 2.08...
If you are buying this for a VF160, let me know and
I\'ll send the VF160 disc instead of the VF16 disc...
