FRANKLIN MINT JOSEPHINE GIBSON GIRL THE EXHIBITION IN PARIS OUTFIT
Outfit includes: skirt, top, bloomers, hat, shawl/cape, belt, shoes & hanger. The outfit is in excellent used condition except as shown there are missing “jewels” in the front of the top & 2 (I think) on the belt. You could either buy some tiny black rhinestones at the craft store & glue on or sew on some beads to replace stones or add some lace to remedy this. The hanger has SJ on it, I think it is FM but not for this doll. The skirt has ivory lace along the hem to simulate a petticoat, however there is no separate one. The hat has wire in it and can be formed as desired & includes hatpin. The outfit is purplish navy velvet & purple taffeta type fabric- at a distance it reads as purple. The velvet parts look navy or purple depending on how the light hits.
Everything will fit Gene or Tonner Tyler but the top & shoes. If you are doing a custom Downton Abbey Dowager Countess Violet doll, this would be a great outfit for her! (Note: if you take the hands off a BW Tonner Tyler body doll you can get the top on her, but the top will not fastenexcept at top & bottom hooks unless you move loop fasteners, altho the cape will hide that. There is room to move the loops. Gene\'s hands are too big to fit thru the sleeves.)
To be clear you are offerding on the outfit pieces as shown only, no doll is included. The outfit is complete except for the original hanger & earrings. The FM Josephine outfits were very nicely done with quality materials and attention to details; they are gorgeous! They should fit other similar sized FM vinyl fashion dolls like Titanic Rose, Diana, Grace, Jackie, Liz Taylor, Michelle & so on. I have other FM items listed separately- glad to combine shipping to save you!
How is this item packed for shipping?
