Recently refinished with 2 part Poly Fiber epoxy varnish, balanced and flown approximately 12 hours without vibration or problems. No dents, cracks or dings in the wood, nearly perfect brass leading edge. Tracks true when spun by handpast a gauge on the ground and when observed at idle and high power.

I removed this propeller from my 1939 Taylorcraft BC-65 because it was too finely pitched for my needs when cruising. It would over-rev the Continental A-65-8F engine at cruise. It did have excellent climb performance, though. I believe there are several aircraft types which are powered by the A-65 engine which can use this prop. The Taylorcraft uses are for operators of seaplanes or for those requiring a climb prop. There is a wooden propeller website which lists aircraft which use this propeller, or check your aircraft type specifications sheet.

The initial offer price reflects the fact that I cannot warranty this propeller, simply because it is over 50 years old. I had no doubts about its integrity. You may inspect this prop for your own aircraft and find it flies beautifully. Or, you may decide that this makes a wonderful piece of aviation art for your hangar or den.
