Here is a stunning fossil. A perfect spinal process from a woolly mammal. Far more rare than a large, perfect complete tooth, this rare listing is for a spectacular thoracic vertebra processing from a large Woolly mammath. This vertebra would be located between the shoulder blades and is one of the few largest vertebrae in the spine. The massive dorsal spine would have served as an anchor point for all the most powerful upper body muscles and ligaments. It measures a whopping 19 inches long and as you can see it dwarfs my forearm. You can see what a complete one looks like and it\'s location in the spine in the last 2 pictures.
