The closure mechanism facilitate the smooth opening and closing of the doors on these stack sectional barrister lawyer bookcases. Without these the doors frequently bind and can damage the tracks. If this occurs repeatedly over time it can require a great deal of work to repair. These are innew productionand will not require any cleaning. They come with the eyelet attaching pieces for the doors for free if requested. While these mechanismsfit easily into the Globe Wernicke® cases they can also be easily adapted to the Macey cases.We have multiple sets of these available to the buyer.
