The gramophone works by turning the crank handle, that winds the motor,that turns the turntable. There is also a speed adjustment dial.

This gramophone only plays the old thick 78 RPM records. The package includes one old 78 RPM record andextraneedles. This gramophone will not play the newer thin 78 RPM records. The sound from this gramophone does not sound anywhere near the sound of a phonograph. Minor assembly is required.

The manufacturer states that this gramophone will work properly, if assemble correctly, but we sell this gramophone/phonograph as a decorative non operational display piece.

The wood base at the bottom is 14 3/4\" X 14 3/4\" and the top part of the base with the turntable is 12 3/4\" X 12 3/4\". The base to the top of the horn is 25\"
