1965 Gravely Model L8I, Runs good, no smoke, 6.6 hp engine. Machine has been cleaned, Carburetor has been rebuilt cleaned blown out and new gaskets put in, Gas Tank inside acid cleaned neutralized and Red Kote Sealer put in the Tank, New Petcock, new Fuel Filter and New Fuel Line. The Oil was changed BUT NOT the Filter. The Air Filter is useable but needs replaced I could not find one readily available locally. They are for sale on . It is not 100% original Mint condition the throttle cable is a solid copper wire and the rope under the air filter was replaced with regular rope. Rotary Mower needs serviced, Blade can be turned from bottom , Bogs down and kills machine when trying to engage. I have had people tell me this is a 1940\'s thru 1950\'s machine even sweeter 65 to 75 year old machine runs good for the age. I ordered a air filter for it.
I am not a professional mechanic by any standards ma-bee a backyard grease slick sounds about right.
