The soundbox and the soundboard are made of solid wood, except the bottom where the soundholes are located. Beautiful hand carvings on pillar, neck and soundbox. The neck and soundbox sides have inlaid white colored purflings. The soundboard has inlaid hand made wooden purflings all around its outer edge. The harp has a combined walnut and natural finish. On the inside of the harp, two wooden bracings run parallel to the bridge from one end to the other of the soundboard for improved tone and added strengh. The harp has 37 nylon strings, the range is from A1 to B6. The bass strings are hand made in Paraguay and the treble strings are made in the USA. High quality hot hide glue is used to join the parts together. Sealed Machine heads are made in Taiwan. The harp has two wooden legs with rubber caps at the end. On request, it can be made to stand on its own by adding two additional legs. The weight of the instrument is of about 16 pounds (8 kg) and the height of the soundbox is 50 inches (125 cm).
