It is ready to plug in and start slicing.Blade sharpening assembly is included and is in good shape. For the holidays I personally have sliced beef and ham on this machine and it worked great !

Overall this machine is in great condition for its age except for a few minor scratches onits housing. ( This is a Quality piece of equipment)
