HUNGARIAN M1904 CAVALRY OFFICER DRESS SWORD-PACHOLEK GYORGY-BUDAPEST W/ KNOT:
Fine condition WWI era Hungarian Model 1904 Cavalry sword that is an officer’s dress type marked on the right side of the blade Pacholek Gyorgy Budapest. This very tough to find sword is complete with its original dress sword knot that is yellow in color with a large tassel on the end and the double head Austro-Hungarian Eagle on each side of the tassel. 30” curved blade is 1” wide at the guard with a fuller on both sides. Blade has most of its original bright finish with some gray and brown, has not been sharpened. Pierced cross guard has a nice pattern all the way around. 1 piece grip has a fine condition sharkskin cover with a full wire wrap. Complete with correct original scabbard that has a gray and brown metal finish with a single hanger ring and one ding on each side near the tip. Very tough to find any Hungarian marked sword from the old Austro-Hungarian Empire.
