Came from an estate sale. Looks to be in excellent physical condition. Has the DS-2 DC to DC converter option installed for mobile operation. So I did power it on but I did not place it into transmit mode (I know better). Based in Southern California and with an old CB radio antenna connected I was able to receive transmissions. 14.260 mhz seemed to be very active at the time with reports out of Washington DC, Virginia, Texas and Colorado.Ialso very briefly switched back and forth the \'send\' mode switch and was able to adjust to get a plate voltage reading on the meter of 700-800 volts. I don\'t doubt the transmit function works but again I cannot confirm. You are welcome to bring whatever you need to test this very nice looking radio.Sorry local pickup only!
