THIS IS A CLASS AB-1 AMP THAT SOUNDS BETTER THEN ANY 2SC2879 WILL THE AMP HAS AUDIO THAT WILL HAVE YOU TURNING DOWN THE MIC GAIN RUNNING INTO THIS AMP. 75 TO 125 WATTS WILL DRIVE THE AMP FINE. IT NEEDS 200 AMPS AT 15VOLTS TO SEE 3KW.. AT 13VOLTS 250AMPS, AT 17VOLTS 160AMPS. SSB, PREAMP WORK BETTER THEN A SWEET16 ON SSB. A SWEET 16 IS A CLASS B,, THIS MOSFET IS A CLASS AB2,, EACH WATT HAS MORE AFFECT THEN A DIRTY CLASS C THAT BLEEDS.. variable speed fans, lights on/off inside of the amp you can use a cobra29 straight and you will still see 1600-1700 watts since its A class ab2 it is easy to drive. same mosfets in car audio amps almost. they work forever. if you want a Tx75 driver with a toshiba 2290 just ad 100.00 and the driver is included.no extra for shipping that. we over pack our boxs and this is A low price for this amp..they are high priced because they go so high/low on frequencies, Can be volted.. I also have A solid 200 amp 250 surge power supply that runs on 15.5 volts.. it will run the Mosfet 4x16 all day never get hot, just warm.
