This is a very nice looking Hammarlund HQ-120-X receiver. It receives on all bands with good sensitivity. The only significant mod that I noticed is that the 6S7 RF amplifier has been replaced with a miniature 6DE6, which is working very well. This mod could be reversed, if desired. The crystal selectivity/phasing works very well. I notice that only the electrolytic capacitors have been replaced---it looks like most if not all of the original paper capacitors are still there.The S-meter is not operational andI believe the meter itself is defective. The tuning is slipping a little and should be tightened (disc edge driven, no dial cord).. The top inside is very clean as can be seen from the pictures. The flat rectangular metal cover for the turning capacitors is missing.Money back if buyer is not satisfied.A free BAMA copy of the manual is included.Insured shipping to any US address will be $70.
