This 1938 Hammond Concert Model E and 1948 Leslie 31A were both completely disassembled, refinished and restored both internally as well as externally. No expenses were spared in the 9 months it took to complete this project.The Concert Model E was the flagship organ for Hammond prior to WW II and only 740 were manufactured. It has features far ahead of its time when compared to other models the organ company would produce later on:

– Chrome drawbars (converted to “smooth”)
– Hammond Main/Echo/Ensemble switch
– Leslie half moon Main/Echo/Ensemble switch
– Leslie half moon Chorale/Tremolo switch
– Trek II Reverb
– wired for 3 cabinets: 1 Hammond Tone Cabinet and 2 Leslies (122 family / Type II 6H configuration) with full selection of switching between all of them. The 31A Tallboy Leslie was similarly restored, both internally as well as cosmetically:
– amp has had all capacitors replaced and upgraded to Type II / 122 compatibility
– Lower and Upper motors rebuilt
– all grommets, bushings & belts replaced
– Lower Rotor bearings restored
– Dividing Network (crossover) rebuilt
– original Jensen horn driver rewired
– original Field Coil woofer ohm tested - perfect
– Hamptone Speed Controller installed The Hamptone Controller allows the organist to choose between the original, Off/Tremolo single speed configuration of the Tallboy or the \"standard 122 style,\" Chorale/Tremolo 2 speed configuration.Many more pics available on request.
