This unit was used to help a church hold services after the flooding of their musical equipment.
We couldn\'t get their Hammond XK5 shipped to us in a timely manner, so this was the only way we could get them a working instrument.
It was used for 8 weeks.
It now can\'t be sold as new, but it was delivered from the factory to our offices in July so it still has a perfect feel and look. The only flaws are several chips on the front, lower corners of the left and right wood side blocks. The unit was moved and stored in a gig bag that was too big and the corners got damaged when the keyboard was moved after Sunday service. The chips do not go into the wood, but are superficial surface cracks in the outer lacquer coating. The instrument was taken apart by our tech staff, inspected and tested and operates to factory specification.

It has 9 physical drawbars and the typical 88 note waterfall keyboard that mimics the B3 feel to the key throw, drop and weight. Percussion, chorus-vibrato and a killer Leslie with familiar control placement round out the sound.

The programming also contains extra voices, to include accoustic and digital pianos, clav and harpsichord, string sections, brass and reed solo and section presets, accordians, synth solo and pad settings and much more.
You can split and layer the organ with all of the extra voices in the sound libraries, or play them as solo instruments in one section of the keyboard while backing up your choice with the organ in the other.
Programming can be taken down to the level of each of the tone wheels, so you can drill down and take the initiative to match the sonic signature of \"Betsy\" or whatever you call your pet B-3, to this keyboard.
Similar performance controls found in all of the Hammond portable line, including reverb, distortion, Leslie signatures and ramp up-down speeds, as well as others, are all present to fine tune the instrument to your particular needs.
This is a simple, cost effective, light weight B3 performance portable that is great for anyone who wants a Hammond sound on stage, but still would like piano, strings, horn sections and other samples built into the one keyboard. Midi in and out make it an ideal controller, as well. There are no dings, scratches or marks on the keys, controls or metal case. The factory presets and programs have not been modified. The keyboard is loaded with the newest version of the software and OS, and all of the new patches available at the time of delivery. The factory plastic sleeve, styrofoam shipping wedges and box are all intact.
The SK1-88 will be shipped in the original factory double cardboard shipping box and sleeve. The sale includes the keyboard, power cable and power supply, and all factory documentation and user manual, only. A stand, bass pedal system with expression pedal, bench, midi and 1/4 inch cables, and RCF amplifier or Leslie Studio 12 are available separately to create the ultimate portable rig.
