Up for sale isthis very nice clean like new,used all metal, heavy duty Hitachi Futura DeLuxeSewing Machine,made in the 60\'s. This machine is in fine workingworking condition.
This machine is ideal sewing leather, heavy jeans, quilt, tents, vinyl, sailboat cover, auto upholstery, silk, horse blankets, sunbrella, and more.
This machine has been completelyserviced, checked and cleaned.
This sewing machinewas tested on 2 layers of 5 oz leather,8 layers of heavy denim, 8 layer of canvas and worked great. Useing standard 15x1, sizes #18 needle. This sewing machine uses needle sizes from 9 to 22,you can buy at any fabric store or Walmart. All tests were made useing a #18 needle and Coats .T26 upholstery thread is equivalent to commercial #69 nylon thread.
Thisheavy duty sewing machine is straigth stitch, with a oscillating hook (semi-rotating hook).
CONDITION, Very goodcondition with some nicks on the bed, all function work great, timing checked, and adjusted, stitch very good, and oiled & Lubricated.
COME WITH, Foot Control,bobbins, and compatible manual.
