Because of this, we recommend that you use the Henderson Castrating Instrument on stallions only. I had my colts castrated with the Henderson Castrator instead of the normal use of the emasculator, and noticed they did not show NEAR the swelling and fluid buildup in the legs, and seemed to walk off quicker than when done with an emasculator.
