Solid, probably mahogany, inlaid with lighter woods, interior painted secretary.
The pictures tell it all.
Guilded inserts in cabinet doors; guilded lions head pull out supports for drop leaf desk supports and interior “hidden” cubbies. Also on the filigree carved top edge. Original green lacquered interior. Brass pulls on the 3 drawers
This piece has been in my family since it was purchased in the early-mid 1900s in NY
Other than one chip/ding on the lower and inner edge of the right front cabinet door, it is in near-perfect condition. Lovingly care for and never restored in any way.
The drawers are solid and finished inside to match the exterior. An emblem indicating that this was made by Henry Fuldner and Sons is finished into one of the drawers. The back is made of two pieces of unfinished mahogany.
The piece is 35” wide and 75” tall. The lower half is 19” deep; the upper part is 9.5” deep.Pick-up only
