Offered is a genuine historic holster made by the legendary master of the quickdraw Arvo Ojala. This particular holster was designed to fit the Colt SAA 4 3/4 or 5 1/2\" barrel. The overall condition of this vintage holster is excellent. It displays a bit of character as seen in the photos. As many of you know, Arvo Ojala was the master of the quick draw, and displayed his talents in many westerns and early TV shows which were popular in the early 1950\'s and 60\'s. You may recognize Mr. Ojala from his opening of every Gunsmoke show, as the opponent of Marshall Dillon. Of course, Marshall Dillon came out the victor every time. Many of Hollywood\'s western heroes were trained by Arvo Ojala. Arvo was also a master craftsman, designing many of the holster\'s used by Hollywood\'s famous stars. \"If this holster could only talk\"! This holster is one of Arvo Ojala\'s creations, and there\'s a good possibility it was used in one of those early tv episodes, or motion pictures. It contains his name and the serial number issued to him upon patent approval. Leather tie down lanyard is included. The hammer lanyard loop is no longer present.
