The Hitachi 1-9/16-Inch Spline Rotary Hammer delivers high-speed drilling and forcible chipping with low vibration and noise level. With 10 joules of impact energy and a 9.2 Amp motor, this rotary hammer will increase your productivity. The variable speed dial controls an RPM range of 240-480. It offers two modes of operation: hammer and drill, and hammer only, for flexibility within a range of applications. A built-in electronic control circuit keeps the speed constant, even as the load varies. A soft, non-slip Elastomer grip absorbs vibration and improves comfort and handling. Comes with removable side handle and 4 1/2\" wide x 14\" long chipping bit. We bought this hammer to remove some tile in the house we were remodeling. It worked great. We have recently had this hammer serviced and had the rings replaced. It has scuffs and scratches as it has been used, but it works great and gets the job done.
