Yes, I know autumn has barely begun, but before long, snow will be on the ground again--and you should be ready with winter amusements for your Hittys. Here\'s a vintage all-wooden Scandinavian-style kick sled, in perfect scale for our 6\" friends; because of its construction, two can ride! Though I\'ve been gathering and sharing sleds with Hitty friends for years, this is the first time I\'ve noticed this style sled; we don\'t see many like it in Texas. It may once have been a Christmas tree ornament, but no hanging loop was included, and no holes are present where one might have been. \'Came to me from an estate with lots of lovely under-the-tree putz decorations--the others, recognizable as circa \'50s and earlier. Hand-painted in a winter-y blue with floral and other motif decorations, it measures 7½ inches long, 1 7/8 inches wide, and 3½ inches high. No country of manufacture is on sled. It\'s in wonderful condition, with just a bit of paint crackling from age. Hitty dolls in the photos aren\'t included in the sale, but click on my other sales to see a second sled--in red. Of course, should you win both, they will ship together.
