Vtg PLAK-LITE Portable Picture Lamp MAXFIELD PARRISH Nude Maiden in Woods.

This is a rare find of a Plat-Lite portable picture TV lamp featuring a beautiful nude maiden in the autumn woods. Art nouveau maiden by Maxfield Parrish and lamp is made in the early 1950\'s by Holly Hill of Chicago.

Metal base is 12\" across, 3 1/2\" wide and about 1\" tall. Lamp is12 1/2\" from top to bottom. Push down button switch and in base is a 7 watt candelabra lite bulb that can be replaced. Frame is gold metal with a delicate rope twist and deco arrows in the connections of corners 9\" x 11\". Standard 110 electrical cord in good condition but originalso it is not a \"Grounded\" plug but in perfect working order.I do suggest that it be checked by an electrician for safety reasons. Gold metal frame slides up so picture can be replaced and changed. Barely visible are the seam lines in the picture that is attached to a cardboard backing. Picture is 8\"x10\" and lamp works well and is overall in very good condition.
