Up for saleis this easy to use Jäger PL-440 Portable Shortwave AM FM Four-Band Radio Receiver is in excellent, near-new condition with little or no signs of use. It is working perfectly. The battery compartment is in pristine condition. It\'s powered by four AA batteries, and it has a receptable for plugging in a 6v DC adapter. A fresh set of alkaline batteries is included, but the AC adaptor is not included. The clock setting and presets memory is maintained by two A76 or LR44 batteries.

The Jäger brand is a little obscure, but this is a pretty good portable receiver. The quality is easily as good as a comparable Grundig model that I own.
