Original 1960’s Vintage Ordnance Optics JFK Assignation Scope Side Mount. This is the Correct (3) Hole “NO 2 JAPAN” Modified Mount for 6.5 Italian Mannlicher Carcano M91/38 Rifle that was used on Lee Harvey Oswalds two-bit Sniper Rifle with a Hollwood Optics 3/4” 4x18 No 10 Japan Scope. These started out as a (4) Hole Chilean Mauser 3/4” Mount that was modified by Klein’s Sporting Goods in Chicago, ILL to work on the Italian Caranco by grinding a radius on the rear bottom of the Mount eliminating the mount screw holes from four to three, Unlike others that have been offered on this is 100% correct and can be compared to the original photo the last picture that I have posted of the actual rifle that Oswald used from the FBI file. If you are trying to replicate a Accurate Historical Copy don’ let this get by because next to the rigged from a Movie-Camera Bag Sling this is the second hardest item to find with the Scope being next and the Rifle being the easiest. You are offerding on the Scope-Mount only in V/Good+ Condition.
